BEAUTY TIP OF THE DAY!

Beauty Tip Of The Day
Beauty Tip of the Day: To cover the dreaded under eye circles start by applying a good moisturizer, then a yellow corrector cream to cancel out the purple undertone! {I like Physicians Formula Yellow Concealer Wand that you can get at Walmart} Next apply your foundation then your favorite concealer in a triangle like below {Good Ones: Maybelline Conceal/Highlight Wand, Benefit Erase Paste, Laura Mercier Duos}
Last Week's Beauty Tips
5/24/10 Beauty Tip: Pick the right shades! LIPS: test a lip color on your fingertip--that way you can hold the color next to your face to see how it looks. (No mirror? your finger is still a good guage because it's closer in color to your lips than the back of your hand) EYES: Choose colors opposite or directly next to your eye color on the color wheel. BLUSH: Make a fist...match your blush to the color your knuckles turn for the most natural look!
5/25/2010: Beauty tip of the day: For fuller looking lips, after applying your gloss, dab a bit of gold or silver eyeshadow to the center of your top and bottom lip! The shimmer will draw attention to your new jolie-esque pout!
5/27/2010: Beauty tip of the day: Stretch those pennies! Instead of tossing out your mascara tube when it starts getting dry, hold it under the faucet with hot water. This will re-activate the cream and give your mascara new life!

5. MAC Viva Glam Gaga Lipstick with NYX Bloom Lip Liner! I've been getting really brave with my lip colors and venturing away from my usual pale pink and browns and I must say I LOVE IT! This is a fun color combo {what I'm wearing in my profile pic} www.maccosmetics.com and www.nyxcosmetics.com

Beauty Tip Of The Day
For the most even coverage when applying liquid foundation, use a foundation brush like the ones above {the brush on the far left=dip lightly in foundation and buff on in quick circles. the brush on the far right=paint on foundation until ideal coverage is reached}. For Powder foundation use a kabuki style brush {like the one in the middle}. *Money Saving Tip*: Prefer a makeup sponge? Spritz it with water each time before applying f...oundation. This keeps the product from seeping into the sponge and you will waste much less foundation!
